The National Costume Challenge

The National Costume is an outfit that represents your country and its culture. It is an opportunity for you to showcase your country's traditions and identity in a creative and typically colorful way. Your National Costume should reflect your country's unique characteristics and highlight its rich history and cultural heritage.

STYLING

When creating your National Costume, you are encouraged to be as creative as possible. There are no restrictions on the colors or intricacy of your design, so you can let your imagination run wild. This allows for limitless possibilities in expressing your country's culture and traditions.

POSES

You will need to prepare a default pose, a walking animation, and a pose set that lasts about 90 seconds. Your default pose is the pose you will hold when you first step onto the runway. Please note that you may be asked to remain in your default pose for an extended period on the runway, so it is important to choose a pose that is comfortable and showcases your National Costume effectively.

While a 360° turn is not mandatory, you are encouraged to showcase your outfit from various angles to highlight its details. This will allow the judges and audience to fully appreciate the beauty and intricacy of your National Costume.

DESCRIPTION

In your styling description, you should explain why you chose to represent your country and what makes it special to you and others. This is your chance to share your passion and pride for your country and its culture. Additionally, please include a typical greeting in your country's official or common language (e.g., "Hello everyone!"). Your description should be no more than 150 words and must be submitted by one of the specified deadlines listed in the "Sequence of Events."

We hope that these guidelines will inspire you to create a stunning National Costume that represents your country with pride and showcases its unique cultural heritage to the world. Good luck!
